ROAD NOT TAKEN
A poetic film
The films main message is to portray important decision making foreshadowed in Robert Frosts famous poem Road not taken. In the Poem Frost mentions taking a path never taken before, here I have tried to reverse the visual way of showing that concept.
The path of yellow flowers is a part never taken before; the protagonist gets to see what it's like taking that path by picking the yellow flower. But then later on she also explores the path of the red flower the flower that stands out the most, a flower most likely to be picked.
Frost thinks upon What If? I had picked that path or leaving it for another day and here I have tried to give a chance to the protagonist to have an answer to that. And in the end just as the poem to be able to make that unregretful decision in a quite literal way.
